The above figure was quoted on Discovery Channel not so long ago and even to old hands on the internet this has to come as a shock.Why filter the internet? To increase your control over what your children are allowed to access over the internet we have 3 levels of filtering.
You as a parent can subscribe to one of our three filtering levels and dictate what access your children have. Ranging from our Standard Filter which blocks the high level unwanted content, to our Homework Filter that is fully compliant with all of the regulations laid down by the above organisations. The Homework Filter will only allow your children access to educational material, No MSN, No YouTube, in fact it blocks all of the time wasting sites to ensure your children don't become distracted from their Homework.

One of the directors of CyprusInternet.com.cy has been around the internet industry since the 80's and even he was surprised when he was told that 69% of the internet's content was now deemed as Porn or Undesirable content. Here's what he had to say about Child Safe Surf.

Things have improved in some ways since then, & barbie.com is no longer a porn site, but it just shows how a momentary laps in concentration can be all it takes, hence way we have designed Child Safe Surf, Please use it to it fullest. Children tend to grow up so fast these days, but we should do everything we can to protect them until it is beyond our control." |

How Much Does it Cost?
If we didn't have to pay for each individual login for Child Safe Surf, we would provide this as a free service and in the future, maybe we can. In the mean time, we are not charging a Princes ransom, all we ask is €10+VAT per month for each additional login you require. |

Child Safe Surf has been designed to comply with the rules and regulations set down by CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act ), Becta (The British Educational Communications Technology Agency) & DOPA (Deleting OnLine Predators Act). Our Child Safe Surf filters are virtually identical to those used in schools throughout the UK and USA.
Please note that full compliance is only achieved when using the "Homework Filter" & you can only use one login at a time, therefore if you have more than one PC connected to the same network, ALL PC's will be bound to the active login's filtering policy.
